Applications for all graduate programs are the same – Master’s, Au.D., Ph.D., and Ph.D./Au.D. They are available only on-line, and can be submitted electronically. You may, also print out the application materials and complete and mail them as instructed if you prefer.
Deadlines
Some programs have both fall and spring admissions, while others have only one admission cycle per year. However, decisions for financial aid for all programs are usually made during the spring term for the following academic year.

Deadlines for Foreign Students
Due to prolonged processing times, foreign students must submit application materials by December 1 for fall admission in August and by September 1 for a spring admission.

Application Instructions: Domestic Student Applications
Applications will not be given to the Admissions Committee for consideration until all required documents listed below have been received. Your application must include:
- Parts I & II of the Graduate School Application Form. Please identify the “Specialty Field” and degree that you are interested in:
- speech pathology MA
- audiology Au.D.
- audiology Ph.D/Au.D.,
- Ph.D. in speech, language, or hearing sciences

- Four letters of recommendation. Please use the form provided by the university. Recommendation letters may be submitted electronically by the recommender. If letters are not done electronically,they can be sent directly to the SLHS address or returned to you in sealed and signed envelopes and mailed in one packet.

- Two official transcripts with the seal and signature of the institution. University policy requires that Graduate Admissions not accept unofficial transcripts or transcripts issued directly to the student. These are to be sent directly to the SLHS address from each and all institutions attended.

- Official GRE Scores. These are required of all domestic applicants and must be received by the department deadline stated above. Please arrange to take the GRE test by no later than December 1st for the February 1 application deadline and by September 1st for the October 15th deadline. Our GRE code is XXX in order to have test results sent to us.

- Application for Departmental Funding. Please visit the SLHS website for instructions on how to apply. University financial aid is administered by the university, not SLHS.

- Tuition Classification Form. This form must be filled out by any student who is claiming in-state tuition.

- $50 application fee, check made out to the University of Colorado

Application Instructions: International Student Applications
International students are those who already have, or will be applying for a temporary U.S. visa. Permanent residents should apply using the domestic student process. Information regarding international student admissions, qualifications, and requirements can be found at the university’s Graduate School website.
Applications will not be given to the Admissions Committee for consideration until all required documents listed above have been received. Please follow the instructions for international student admissions provided by the Graduate School.
