Located in beautiful Boulder, Colorado, the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences offers a broad range of student training in clinical practice and research. 

The department consistently ranks very high in the U.S. News and World Reports’ ranking of Speech Pathology and Audiology Programs.  In 2008, Speech Pathology was ranked 25th and Audiology was ranked 24th. 

Our programs are fully accredited by the Council of Academic Accreditation in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. 

Our students have access to a wide range of clinical education opportunities in schools, hospitals, and clinics throughout the metro Boulder and Denver area. There is a diverse range of laboratories and research institutes to foster research skills.

For students who love outdoor recreation, Boulder offers a huge range of opportunities.  It is a recreational magnet for runners, road and mountain biking, rock climbing, and, of course, any sport that you can do in the snow.
