Cory Portnuff, AuD, PhD is a clinical audiologist at the University of Colorado Hospital, UCHealth Hearing and Balance Clinic and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. In the clinic, he works with patients of all ages, with a focus on audiologic rehabilitation, treatment for tinnitus and services for musicians. Dr. Portnuff is board certified in audiology with a specialty certification in pediatric audiology. He also is a certified professional supervisor of audiometric monitoring programs (CPS/A) and holds certificates in tinnitus management and Audiology precepting. 

Dr. Portnuff’s research focuses on noise-induced hearing loss, with a particular emphasis in music-induced hearing loss and in understanding music players using health belief modeling. He also focuses on clinical and translational research within the clinical setting.
